Beginning counseling can be a frightening experience. With warmth, compassion, and curiosity around your experience, I create a safe and comfortable environment where change and relief become possible. My psychodynamic background and training in a variety of counseling techniques can help to reduce your discomfort while gaining awareness of self and others. Therapy can assist you in healing from past trauma, reducing symptoms of depression/anxiety, and gives you a supportive environment for increasing communication skills and addressing the problems plaguing you.

I enjoy working with children ages 3 and up, adults, couples, and families.  My work as a school counselor contributes to my understanding of child development and parenting concerns.  I am currently a member of AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy) and CASC (California Association of School Counselors).
